Astrologers and witchdoctors are now fighting for space to advertise their services in upmarket estates. Going by the number of posters on walls, electric poles and trees outside posh estates near Yaya and Kilimani, it is now evident the competition is getting stiffer by the day. Several residents have told The Nairobian that many posters are left at their estates at night despite several attempts to pull them down.
Kennedy Owino, a daytime guard in Kilimani said he has been competing with the witchdoctors to pull down the advertisement but has have failed. In September, an astrologer Dr Khalif, who has shifted online, told The Nairobian they target upmarket estates and clients abroad since they can easily access internet.
