Ranguma booed over extravagant proposals in his county budget
Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma was heckled when he accompanied former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to a function. Ranguma was booed throughout his speech at the Jomo Kenyatta Grounds, with area residents complaining about his extravagant county budget at the expense of service delivery. Residents shouted him down chanting prado, prado, protesting the move by the governor and his county government to set aside a large part of the county funding towards buying expensive vehicles for the county executive members.
