University students reject calls for a referendum

While rejecting calls for a referendum by a section of politicians, the student leader said students from institutions of higher learning had been exploited in the past by politicians for selfish gains. “This time round we will not accept to be misused by politicians and we will not support calls for a referendum,” said the SONU chairman.
