Traders, roads receive boost in county plan
Nakuru County Governor Kinuthia Mbugua addresses the assembly on April 18, 2013 when he laid down a number of development plans for the county. Bad roads in the rich agricultural county have been blamed for hindering growth as most areas where fresh produce is grown is not accessible during the rainy season. Trade and infrastructure were the biggest beneficiaries in the Nakuru County budget that was tabled this week.
The upgrade of the roads, said Biashara Ward county representative Stephen Kuria, will generate more than Sh50 million annually.
