Gold traders 'have been breaking laws'

The Treasury and ministry of Mining have admitted that gold exporters have been bringing huge amounts of money into Kenya in cash — contrary to the Kenyan law. The admissions were made to the National Assembly’s Natural Resources Committee, which is investigating the allegations first made in Parliament in June.
Mr Shill said the two companies, Skyhawk International Limited and Ushindi Exports Limited, had according to documents in his possession, been exporting the precious metal to the UAE.
