Sect: Holy Spirit used us to storm Rwanda State House
Catholic faithful during Holy Mass at St Michael Cathedral, Kigali. The church has disowned the Intwarane za Yezu na Mariya group. The seven men and a woman are members of Intwarane za Yezu na Mariya, a radical sect that claims to be associated with the Catholic Church.
However, one of the group’s leaders, Chantal Mutamba, told the court that their actions were inspired by the Holy Spirit and that they do not remember a thing of what happened. The eight people detained after they marched to State House to reportedly warn the president of impending doom for Rwanda claim they were in a spiritual trance at the time.
