Education a key asset for Kenya – First Lady
NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 5 – Education is a vital gift from parents and the community that enables children to realize their hopes and aspirations for a better life, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta has said. The First Lady further said that investment in education also enhances equal opportunities and was an important asset for a country to its people. She was speaking at Kianda School during a cocktail organized to review the school’s Peperuka scholarship project.
“From this school I learnt many things: I learnt the power of prayer, I learnt humility, charity and gratitude and most of all, I learnt to love my neighbour as myself.
