Court clears two for Mali's presidential runoff
Mali’s constitutional court has confirmed that former Prime Minister Ibrahim Boubacar Kéïta garnered more votes in the first round of the presidential elections dismissing allegations of any irregularities. This paves way for the RPM candidate and Soumaila Cisse of the URD party to face off in the second round scheduled for Sunday. Mr Keita got 39 per cent of the votes casts while Mr Cisse attained 19.7 per cent.
